2/ Types of data collected

The information that the Tourism Office may collect comes from the voluntary communication of such information by a physical person who enters this information onto the Web site. This includes most notably identification information (name, surname, birthday, etc.), email or postal address, and telephone number. Whether information is obligatory or optional is indicated in each form.

How the information will be used is indicated on each form that can be filled out via the Web site.

Unless otherwise indicated on the data form, the personal information collected is intended for exclusive internal, non -commercial use by the Tourism Office and can in no way be transmitted to any third parties.

 

III. Intellectual property

1/ Definitions

Authors : any physical person having created the elements present on the site, notably text authors, graphic design artists, layout artists, and directory structure designers.

Producer : Proprietor of the site according to article L 341-1 paragraph 1 of the intellectual property code. The Tourism Office of Grenoble is the producer of the site, meaning the ensemble of pages accessible under the domain name www.grenoble-tourisme.com

2/ Intellectual property rights on the site

The entire site is defined as a data base according to the March 11, 1996 directive and its transposition in French law by the law of July 1, 1998 (article L 341-1 and the following clauses of the intellectual property code).

3/ Conditions of use

Any unauthorized use or extraction of elements from the site which is not authorized by the producer represents plagiarism and copyright infringement and is legally punishable.

Any whole or partial use, including but not limited to private use, of the site must be authorized by the publication director, in accordance with the present dispositions.

Any infringement on author's rights or data base rights is punishable by law without prejudice to eventual punitive damages that may be claimed by the rights holders.

Use of text from the site

The following use of text from the site is permitted :

IV. Linking

The Tourism Office of Grenoble authroizes the establishment of hypertext links for Internet sites of organizations belonging to the City of Grenoble, event partners, subsidized organizations, and public and part government-owned organizations with a link to the City. Sites which do not belong to these categories are excluded from the site, as well as any site with illicit content, controversial content, pornography, xenophobia, or any site that could, on a broader scale, offend any group of people. Owning or operating a business or other activity in or around Grenoble does not in itself justify a link to the site www.grenoble-tourisme.com.

The link must lead to the home page of the portal and the www.grenoble-tourisme.com portal must appear in a new windows. The pages of the site must in no way be integrated into the pages of another site.

The Tourism Office reserves the right to delete any link if it judges the linking site out of accordance with the rules as they are defined above.

 

V. Responsability

The Tourism Office cannot be held responsible for the faulty transfer of information due to diverse Internet networks or any incompatibilities with the user's navigation system.

The Tourism Office cannot be held responsible for material errors that may inadvertently be present on the Web site, despite our best efforts to avoid publishing erroneous information.
